ACT! SING! DANCE! For ages 8-11, for 6-9 participants

Acting exercises to enhance spontaneity and confidence

Singing techniques for singing safely

Balletic techniques to promote body awareness and poise

Songs from the American Musical Theatre leading to a performance of an original play

SINGING AND SPEECH DEVELOPMENT for ages 11-13, for 4-6 participants

8 Saturdays 11:30-12:30

Singing technique and appropriate repertoire, presentation, mic technique

Speech exercises to build strong communications skills and confidence

Video feedback

Students from this class may audition for private lessons and which may lead to participation

in a musical presentation in Spring 2014

Tuition $240. San Rafael Studio

STARS OF TOMORROW for ages 14-17, for 4-6 participants

8 Fridays 4:30-5:30pm

Prepare for future auditions with singing technique, song interpretation, presentation and mic technique with video feedback. Students from this class may audition for private lessons which lead to participation in a musical presentation in Spring 2014

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN SING?

For beginning male and female adult singers, for 4-8 participants

4 Thursdays 7:00-8:00pm

Singing technique, ear training, song styling, mic technique,

repertoire of the American Songbook.

This beginning class may continue for another four weeks and may lead to a presentation.

DAYTIME DIVAS, A Chorus for Women, for 8-16 participants

Thursdays 10:45-12:15

The harmony arrangements used for this chorus will depend on the voices and the skill levels. The plan is to lead up to a performance with the evening group, The Harmony Club for Women.

Membership $150.

10 rehearsal commitment

$20 music fee plus a performance fee

San Rafael Studio

HARMONY CLUB FOR WOMEN, for 8-16 participants

Alternate Mondays 6:00-7:20pm

This club is for experienced harmony singers who can study music on their own. The Harmony Club has been rehearsing for four months and is working towards a performance in November.

There is room for more singers, soprano 1 and 2, Alto 1 and 2, and Tenor

The Harmony Club sometimes performs with Marin Harmony, a larger group

which includes male voices.

Arrangements include a cappella and accompanied songs from

jazz standards and the American Songbook.

Membership $15 a rehearsal, ongoing

$20 music fee plus a performance fee
